beleive addiction is learnt through operant conditioning, classical or social learning theory

OPERANT- any B which produces that an individual find as rewarding is likely to lead to initation and becoming more frequent. positive reinforcement has this affect and negative reinforcement means B will stop
SLT- initation happens due to observing role models that smoke, family or peers and the various reinforcement of positive physical and social consquences from addiction.
