Biological drive

Classical conditioning

  • about feelings and reflexes
  • about associating- we learn to associate mum with happiness as she is the source of food
  • mum is the neutral stimulus when the baby is born. This means when the baby is born it doesn't automatically know it's mother is anything to do with him, to the baby the mum is just an object.
  • unconditioned stimulus- something that makes us happy even if we haven't seen it before.
  • unconditioned
