Isotopes are the same except for an extra neutron or 2

Isotopes are: different atomic forms of the same element, which have the same number of protons but a different number of neutrons

  • Isotopes have the same proton number but different mass numbers
  • If they have different proton numbers, they would be different elements altogether

Relative atomic mass takes all stable…
