Aim:to test police officers' ability to distinguish truths and lies during police interviews with suspects.

Procedure:

Field experiment involving 99 kent police officers(24 females/75 males)

  • 54 clips involving 14 suspects of real life police interviews.
  • clips head and torso and ranged in length from 6 to 145 seconds
