In what ways did immigrants face intolerance during 1920's?

One way that immigrants faced intolerance during the 1920's was due to trade unions.For eaxmple this was a big scare during America because Americans feared that by letting immigrants into the country they would work for lower wages which would then decrease the amount of jobs available.
