Impacts upon these people (think economic and social factors in particular)

Naze Protection Society

The Naze Protection Society wants to preserve the cliffs because they are a SSSI and hold many fossils. Also, the Naze Tower is a grade 2 listed building so has certain protection from the government. If the building is lost they would see it as a great shame. A great amount of visitors travel to the site every year (140,000) and see the cliffs and tower as things to see.

Residents of the Naze

The Naze Tower is a building with great heritage and historical value so it is wanted to be saved. Through donations, the people who live near the Naze have helped to fund projects such as the crag
