Bone Profiles

What

The amount of bones found at a site and what marks they have on them: Archaeologists will have to to find similar marks on a large number of bones in order to make an educated guess of what the animals were used for . By doing this animal bones found on sites can be grouped into their uses, and thus their role in the economy can be assimilated with highest accuracy. Factors to be considered will be the decay if bones, as not all animal remains may may have survived which may alter the economical results.
