Hypothesis

Hypothesis: Testable prediction/statement of what you believe to be true.

Alternate Hypothesis:
- The prediction you are making.
- It should be a precise and testable statement of the relationship between the two variables.

Null Hypothesis:
- A statement of no effect.
- e.g. There will be no significant difference in words remembered between those who chew gum and those who don't whilst learning a list of words.
