The changes to farms such as using machinery has resulted in impacting the ecosytems and environment

• field sizes have increased so that food can be produced more cheaply which has caused to remove some animals which reduces biodiversity.
• Increased level of machinery can cause soil erosion
• animals are given substances to encourage their growth and if they enter water areas they can kill or harm other organisms
