When do you use pendant?
When events are completely in the past (started and finished in the past)
E.g.
- Je suis alle en France deux pendant semaines.
- J'habitais a Toulous pendant dix ans.
When do you use pour?
When events will take place completely in the future
E.g.
- Je partirai pour dix jours
- Elle restera la pour trente minutes
When do you use depuis?
There are two ways:
1) When events start in the past and are still continuing; translates as "has been -ing"
