Photosynthesis
carbon dioxide + water + light energy = glucose + oxygen
chloroplasts contain chlorophyll.
light energy absorbed by chlorophyll.
Energy converts co2 and water into glucose and produces oxygen/
A lot of glucose is converted into starch
Limiting Factors
plants need light, warmth and carbon dioxide to grow.
LIGHT IS VERY IMPORTANT.
Temperatures above 40 - 50 degrees will result in the enzymes denaturing and therefore stop growing.
