How far do these sources suggest that the Labour party was weakened by serious divisions in its last 2 years in power?

 Source M clearly states that the Labour party was weakened by serious divisions in its last 2 years in power, particularly due to the economic issues that occured during the last few years. It was the cost of the national health split members up , as the introduction of prescription charges was neccessary but it defeated the objective of a free health service , thus angered the left of the party particularly. Moreover, the pound value decreasing caused many issues within the party as some believed that it should not be devaluated whislt others saw it to necessary to help encourage countries to import from Britain.
