How effective was government propaganda during the First World War?

During the first world war joining the war was a crucial thing the governmebnt had tried to enforce to happen. The government was extremly succesful in the propaganda they had organised.

Most of the propaganda issued was to aim that as much men joined the war at fiorst, the second part was to keep the war morale and war efforts up so people all around Birtain were doing their part in the countries work.  Lord Kirchner's campagin was only;y intended to recieve only 250,000 men
