What are the functions of your kidneys?

The kidneys are the key in maintaing the body's homeostasis. Without them the body would not be able to function.

How do the kidneys do this?

The kidneys have a special filtration method to make sure the body keeps all the needed subtances, but gets rid of the waste products.
