How did Hitler consolidate his power 1933-4?

Reichstag Fire:

On the 27th February 1933, the Reichstag building caught fire and a communist was caught inside. Hitler used this to gain power for Hindenburg to round up and kill communists. This scared off all the communists in the Reichstag when Hitler wanted to pass the Enabling Act, so the vote passed.
