How is Lord Capulet presented throughout the play?

In Act 1 scene 1 shakespeare presents Lord Capulet as a diplomatic father. This is because he tells Paris to wait "two more summers " before he marrys Juliet, who is only a young girl. This depicts Lord Capulet as a loving and empathetic father as during the time that the play was written and set society was highly patriarchal, which meant that men had total control and therefore women were expected to obey their husbands and fathers wishes, so allowing Juliet to grow older before she was to get married was very liberal of Lord Capluet.
