How did the Nazis organise themselves during 1923 - 1929

Hitler imposed a strict hierarchical order to the Nazi party with him as sole leader. He spend these years re-organising and strengthening the Nazi party. He made the party a national one which had members throughout Germany and not just Bavaria. 

How was this done?

He introduced a number of different groups within the party such as:

- The SA. He set up the SA. The role of the SA was the protect the Party leaders but they were also used to disrupt the meetings of Hitler's opponents.
