How Did Hitler’s Actions Lead To The Outbreak Of World War II?

  • One of Hitler’s first acts in the step to war was to leave the League of Nations. This added to the decline in international peacekeeping, and showed how Germany was no longer willing to do as such.
  • He also increased the production of weapons and recruitment of soldiers. This showed he was preparing for a war.
  • Hitler held a rearmament rally at which he announced that in 1936, conscription would be introduced which would increase the size of the army. Again, Hitler is obviously gearing up for war, making Germany more and more powerful.
