Homeostasis
Homeostasis is the regulation of the body's internal conditions, if they change too much our cells/ enzymes cannot function properly
What homeostasis regulates:
- Body temperature - our internal body temperature must be kept at 37°C
- Blood glucose levels - glucose is needed for respiration, so there needs to be an even supply of it
- Carbon dioxide levels - too much carbon dioxide in our blood can be dangerous
- Water levels - our bodies are about 70% water, and this level needs to be…
