- able to vote earlier than other european countries

-ideal man was a matter of personal choice

-free to smoke and wear make-up

-able to sit in reichstag

-3000 female doctors

- encouraged to be expressive in clothing

During Hitler's rule ( post 1933)

- 12th august, honour cross of the great mother given depending on the amount of children a woman had

-ideal husband was an aryan

- married and unmarried encouraged to have children

-female doctors, civil servants sacked

-loans given to women who agreed not to work

- required to wear no make up, have healthy lifestyle and blue eyes, blonde hair and wide hips for giving birth easily
