New Norman Crimes:

  • Kept many of the Anglo-Saxon laws
  • Capital punishment for serious crimes and re-offenders

Forest Laws:

  • Changed the definition of crime and meant many activities were now illegal and serious offences
  • Trees coulnd't be cut down for fuel or building
  • People in forests couldn't own dogs or bows and arrows
  • Hunting deer = 2 fingers
