Herpes

What is it?

• A sexual transmitted disease that is transmitted through sexual intercourse. They are highly contagious and can be passed easily by direct contact.

Causes

• Unprotected sex 
• Herpes Simplex Virus
• STI 
• Having sex with a person who is already infected

Symptoms 

• Tingling/burning sensation before the blisters appear
• Red blisters around the gentials 
• Blisters and ulcers on cervix 
• Vaginal discharge
• Pain when passing urine 
• Fever 
• Headaches
• Cold sores around the mouth 
• Nausea or feeling sick
• Swollen glands
