Mode of action:

Short Term effects: Euphoria, analgesia, CNS depressant

Long Term effects: Lose job, car theft, small time drug dealing

Tolerance: Develops rapidly with doses equil to those taken previously only maintining a bearable short term condition rather than the euphoria and anygesia experienced with prior use: the amount taken has to be increase. Regular uses takes heroin at levels high enough to kill a non-user. However the slowing down effects on the bodies machanisms does not develop tolerence thus heart rate stays low.
