TRADE DESCRIPTIONS ACT 1988 - cannot say if a product for instance is waterproof when it's not

THE TEXTILE PRODUCTS (INDICATION OF FIBRE CONTENT) REGULATION 1986 - fibre content nust be accurate with a tolerance of 3%

THE WEIGHTS AND MEASURES ACT OF 1985 AND 1987 - stated that sizing must be correct

THE CONSUMER PROECTION ACT 1987
