RIDDOR (reporting injuries, Diseases and dangerous occurances regulations)

• Report and keep records of accidents for 3 years of work.
• Work settings have to have procedures in place for reporting injuires, diseases and incidents.
• Employers have to provide information and training on reporting.

RECORD KEEPING:

• Meet requirements of the law
• Kept in case further information is required
• In case service users/ employers situation worsens.
• In case legal action is taken.
• To inform relatives.
