Head Lice
1. Who is it for? How old is the patient? (adult/child)
- Head lice affect all ages, but much more common in children aged 4-11, especially girls.
2. What are the symptoms?
- Any itching?
- Are there any flakes present on the scalp? If so it could be dandruff.
- Any yellow scales or crusts? If so it could be seborrhoeic dermatitis.
3. Have any live or dead lice been seen? What do they look like?
- 3mm long and greyish-white or brown in colour.
