Greenhouse effect:

It is needed for us to survive. The atmosphere surrounding earth, with gases such as CO2 act like the glass in agreenhouse. It will lets the sun's heat in, and stops some escaping. Without it we would freeze. Thsi is the process where thermal radiation is bounced back.

Global Warming:
