Good war?

In many senses, WWII was indeed a good war. It brought about the economic relief America so desperately needed with little impact of fighting noted at home. For certain minority groups, too, it brought positives. However, the majority of the minority faced discrimination, worsened by the war.

As viewed by certain historians, WWII was America's good war on the basis that it brought them completely out of the prior Depression. It positively impacted their economy and made 'the nation rich again'. Standards of living increased far better than contrasting…
