Critically assess the traditional Christian concept of God being eternal

The classical understanding of the nature of God often includes the concept that God exists outside the limitations of time, has done so since before the universe began, and will continue to do so forever. This view of God as eternal or a temporal also includes the notion that God has knowledge of everything that has happened, is currently happening and will happen in the future within our world, simultaneously. Anselm supported this view of God in “Proslogion”, as part of his perfect being theory, suggesting that God is “supremely perceptive”.
