The Treaty of Versailles - 1919

Article 231 - Germany was to blame for the war.

Military loses - Germany restricted to 100,000 soldiers, 15,000 sailors and no air force.

Territorial loses - Alsace-Lorraine returned to France, Polish corridor given to Poland and Saarland given to the League of Nations.

Reparation payments - Germany had to pay £6,600 million to the Allies, lost 10% of it's industry and 15% of it's agriculture.
