Geography is the study of people and places, and the natural features of the earth, for example, rivers, beaches, volcanoes and mountains.

Physicial Geography is the study of things made by nature. e.g. rivers or beaches.

Human Geography is the study of where and how people live. It is the study of things made by people.

Environmental Geography is the study of the surroudings in which people, plants and animals live in and how humans cause pollution. 

Six Figure Grid References are used to help describe the exact location of a place on a map.           In your head divide each grid square into tenths. Read across and then read along the side.
