Genetic Code

• Genetic codes determine the order which different amino acids are linked together to form different proteins
• 3 bases (triplet) controls the production of amino acid in the cytoplasm of cells
• Having different amino acids in a different order = a different protein produced
• If there is a mutation at the beginging - the protein is not made

      middle - the protein is affected

      end - the protein is not affected
