Key Terms

Fallacy: a weakness or flaw in an argument.

Constituency: an area from where voters in an election are drawn. Each constituency elects one MP to represent the voters in parliament.

Euro: a single unit of currency common to most EU countries. Some countries, such as the UK, have not adopted the Euro.

Left Wing: left wing politics are usually associated with the working class, civil rights, gender and racial equality.

Right Wing: right wing politics are usually associated with capitalism and the creation and maintenance of wealth.

Trend: the direction that our social and economic lifestyle and world is taking.

Constraint: a social condition that restricts process.

League Tables: a way of measuring schools against each other in terms of examination success.
