Gender Differences Evaluation

Based on stereotypes of what we expect of a gender, for example, women are sterotyped as being more emotional, whereas men are more aggressive.  This has an impact on what a person will be diagnosed as, even if they are displaying the same symptoms.

E.g. Males are more likely to be diagnosed with anti-social behaviour disorder, and females historionic personality disorder, when displaying the same symptoms
