what are biodegardable plastics?

biodegradable plastics break down easily compared to plastic's which don't biodegrade. they do tend to release toxic chemicals and take up space in landfill sites.

plastic's can be made out of plant's which are biodegradable( broken down by microbes) they are renewable.

they can break down to useful materials such as compost.

they do not biodegrade well in landfill sites .

they are expensive…
