Gambia is located on the west coast of Africa and is a small country that relies a lot on agriculture and tourism. Both of these incomes are volatile and sursceptable to the climate and consumers tastes, meaning that the country does not have good economic stability or a reliable income. Some of the many problems the country faces are:
- Lack of mineral or natural deposits resources
- Limited agriculture due to climate
- Natural hazards eg. drought
