Middle Ages-Most Petalkingople were illiterate and speech was the only skill needed in society as everyone can do it.
19th Century- Seprate status emerged with mass literacy. Printed world meant reading was mroe important. Children couldnt and adults could. Innocence and seperate.
Now-Television blurs the distinction between adults and children. TV and technology does not…
