Fossil: The remains od an organism from millions of years ago.

Mould Fossil: The organism dies, decays and then is buired by sedimet that piles on top. The sediment hardens around the bones that have not decayed. The bones and hard parts eventually decay and a mould fossil is left.

Petrification: The organism dies and then decays. The bones and other hard parts are buired by sediment. The bones and sediment sink down…
