All forces are either push or pull

The thinner an object when travel through a force travelling in the opposite direction the faster it travels (streamlining)

Pointed shapes are more streamlined than flat shapes. This is because a pointed shape can push past the water particles easily whereas a flat shape bunces up so the water particles cannot get around and the shape has to push the water so that slows it down.

When you put a weight on the bottom of an object it travels faster.
