Eatwell guide-
- 1/3 carbohydrates- starchy, pasta bread potatoes
- 1/3 fruit and veg- 7 a day fresh fruit and veg
- 2-3 foods of dairy- hugh calcium, cheese milk and yogurt
- 1/5 protein- fish eggs meat
- very small amount of oils and spreads- choose unsaturated fats
- 6-8 glasses of water- minerals
- Base meals on starchy foods
- Lots of fruit and veg
- Drink lots of water
- Be active
- Eat more fish
- Less salt
- Look at packaging labels
