Eatwell guide- 

  • 1/3 carbohydrates- starchy,  pasta bread potatoes
  • 1/3 fruit and veg- 7 a day fresh fruit and veg
  • 2-3 foods of dairy- hugh calcium, cheese milk and yogurt
  • 1/5 protein- fish eggs meat
  • very small amount of oils and spreads- choose unsaturated fats 
  • 6-8 glasses of water- minerals
  • Base meals on starchy foods
  • Lots of fruit and veg
  • Drink lots of water
  • Be active
  • Eat more fish
  • Less salt
  • Look at packaging labels
