First Ionisation Energies Poem :)

FIRST IONISATION ENERGIES IN PERIOD THREE

Argon sits upon His throne

and gazes smugly down 

his electrons tough to ******

but one thing prompts a frown;

Beyond the deepest valley

of sodium, low and weak,

stands another element-

an even higher peak.

The F.I.E of neon

tops 2000 kJ/mol

but it's in another period

outside Argon's control.

The slope westwards of Argon
