Basic principles of feminism:

  • There is a fundamental division between men and women in society.
  • Women are too some extent exploited by men
  • Society is malestream (male-dominated/patriarchal)

Radical Feminist believe:

  • Society is controlled by men
  • Society is male-stream
  • Men benefit from the inequalities within society.

Idea behind the theroy:

Women are easily dominated by men as men are biologically stronger than women.

Marxist Feminist Views:

  • Men and capitalists control society
  • Society is defined as patriarchal
  • Men (ruling class men in particular) generally beneift from the inequalities in society but they (the ruling class) exploit women both as workers and as wives.
