b) Explain how  a religious believer might experience God. (4)

A Christian might experience God through a miracle - an anomaly. These are very controversial as they break the laws of nature: for example, a miraculous recovery from an incurable illness. Prayer is another way in which a Christian might experience God. They feel closer in being able to communicate with him, discussing personal and private issues. Some people might undergo conversion, this is when they have a dramatic change of heart or experience awe - a sense of amazement for something greater than oneself.
