What is Erganomics?
Science of designing safe ans comfortable equipment and furniture including mouse and keyboard.
A safe and comfortable environment has:
- No trailing wires
- no food and drinks near the computer
- No overload of electrical sockets
- Enough space around the computer
- Appropriate heating and ventilation
- Enough light in the room with no glare or reflections
- Strong desk to support computer
- Regular breaks
Exampe of good erganomic practice
- head upright and over shoulders.
- eyes looking slightly downward(30° from the horizontal line of sight) Without bending the neck
- Back should be supported with the backrest of a chair that promotes the natural curve of the lower back.
- Elbows should be bent at 90°, forearms horizontal, and shoulders relaxed but not depressed.
- Thighs should be bent horizontal with a 90° to 110° on the hip.
- Feet should be fully supported, flat on the floor. If not possible - supported by footrest.
