Epping Forest is located west of Loughton and north east of central London. 70% is deciduous woodland and the rest is grasslands and marsh.It spans almost 12 acres and is used for activities such as:

  • Golf
  • Archery
  • Fishing
  • Horse-riding
  • Dog walking
  • Environmental courses
  • Conservation

It used to be used for grazing livestock but is now a historical tourist attraction due to it's many uses. It is also popular as there isn't many forests around London.
