Bile:
- It is produced in the liver.
- It is stored in the ball bladder before being released in the small intestine.
It has 2 functions:
- It neutralises the acid - it is added to food in your stomach - it produces alkaline conditions where there enzyme works best
- It breaks down large drops of fat into small drops of fats - it enables the lipase to work faster
