Types of enzymes/digestive enzymes
amylase-strarch-sugars-salivary glands in the mouth and pancreas
protease-protein- amino acids-pancreas,stomach,and small intestine
lipase-lipids(fats and oils)- fatty acids and glycerol-pancreas and small intestine
Digestive enzymes pass out of the cells in glandular tissue, go into the space inside the gut and become mixed up with the food.
They cut large food molecules into smaller bits
Biological detergents
biological washing powders (detergents) contain protein and lipase enzymes
The enzymes in detergents often work best at temperatures around 30 degrees
