When you are writing to persuade you use the same techniques as above but justify the different sides of the argument clearly. You need to start with a strong introduction. You should then go on to add in a good point and then a second, all backed up with evidence. You then need the opposing side of the argument, again backed up with evidence. At the end you need to conclude with your viewpoint, backing it up with evidence and you should be trying now to partly persuade whoever the argument is based towards.
