Affix: Add on to another word

Suffix: Change of class of word 

Prefix: A prefix is word/ letters placed at the beginning (Remember- Pre as in before) another word.

Clipping: Abbriviation of a word e.g Veg

Blending: Mixing two words together e.g  'Brunch' is Lunch and Breakfast. 

Borrowing: Using owords from another language. Also called 'Loan Words'

Denotation: Literal meaning of a word

Connotation: Implied meaning
