Work Done
WORK DONE= ENERGY TRANSFERRED.
amount of work done by an object is EQUAL to the energy transferred to the object.
eg work done to pick up an object is 20 joules (J), so energy transferred to it is also 20 joules. so Gravitational potential energy also INCREASES by 20 joules.
- WORK DONE BY A FORCE depends on the size of the force and the distance moved. (Equation):
